It’s 1 box of French Vanilla cake mix.

Prepare 1 package of cherry Jello (3 ounce).

You need 1/3 cup of cold water.

Cool then remove the cake from the pan.
When the cake is cooked combine the Jello with boiling water until combined; pour the mixture over the cake.
