Pasta alfredo. Fettuccine pasta tastes its best when served in a rich, creamy Parmesan cheese sauce made with real cream and butter. Whether it's chicken Alfredo or fettuccine Alfredo, the Alfredo sauce has always had my heart. This is a simple and basic recipe for Italian starters.
Now, some may argue that Alfredo sauce isn't really Italian- it's American.
