Recipe: Tasty Egg pototo curry Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Egg pototo curry. I like the potatoes and eggs. I used my steamer to cook both while I got everything together and prepped so even starting without the pre-cooked eggs and potatoes it was quick and easy. It can be accompanied with any flavored rice, plain rice, roti or chapathi.

Since i made this to go with Jeera rice, this was just fine for us.

This quick and simple Egg and Potato Curry recipe is a nice one to keep in your back pocket.

It works great as a main served along with some steamed rice or rotis/naan and a side salad, and looks fancy enough to add to your table when you have company over.

Ingredients of Egg pototo curry

  1. You need 6 of Eggs boiled.

  2. It’s 2 of Potato cut 8 piece.

  3. Prepare 3 of onion chopped.

  4. You need as needed of Oil.

  5. It’s 2 of tomatoes chopped.

  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Cumin seeds.

  7. It’s 1/2 cup of curd.

  8. It’s 1 inch of ginger.

  9. You need 8 of garlic cloves.

  10. You need 3 of green chilli.

  11. Prepare 3 of dried red chilli Kashmiri.

  12. Prepare 8 of almond.

  13. It’s 1 tbsp of grated coconut.

  14. It’s 1 tbsp of dry fenugreek leaves.

  15. You need to taste of salt.

  16. You need 1/2 teaspoon of red chilli powder.

  17. You need 1/2 teaspoon of haldi (Turmeric)powder.

  18. Prepare 2 of bay leaf.

  19. It’s 2 tbsp of desi ghee.

Peel the eggs and set aside.

Check the potatoes with a fork.

When the potatoes are tender, season the curry with salt first before putting the eggs into the curry (Pot B).

Make sure the eggs are all submerged in the curry.

Egg pototo curry step by step

  1. Take a bowl add eggs and potato pieces add some salt and some haldi powder and mix well keep aside.

  2. Take a pan add 2 tbs oil add onion cumin seeds garlic green chilli ginger red chilli add almond and fry well add tomatoes fry well and add dry fenugreek fry add coconut fry well and after cool grind to mixer and make a fain paste keep aside.

  3. Take pan add oil add potato fry and eggs fry well keep aside.

  4. In leftovers oil add grind masala fry well add curd salt red chilli powder coriander powder haldi powder and mix well add desi ghee masala fry well add eggs and potato mix well and cook add some water cook bring boil and keep slow flame 10 minutes with cover.

  5. Ready for serve with paratha enjoy with your family take care eat well buy see you again with next recipe buy.

If there is not enough sauce to submerge the eggs, add more boiling water.

Heat the oil in a pot.

Once well heated, add the chopped onions.

Add potatoes and water and let it cook on low to medium heat.

One potatoes are done turn to low heat and add the peeled hard boiled eggs.
