  1. Prepare of Green(raw) grated pumpkin…..4cup.

  2. Prepare of Pure ghee..1/4cup.

  3. It’s of Chopped nuts…. According to you.

  4. It’s of Sugar..1/4cup.

  5. It’s of Cardamom powder1/4tspn.

Pumpkin halwa recipe - It is made from orange pumpkin aka kaddu, sugar, jaggery and milk.

Pumpkin halwa step by step

  1. Pour ghee in kadahi or pan.add pumpkin saute it.for 5_7min on high flame.slow the flame cook for 5_6min more..

  2. Add sugar,on high flame, till dissolve the sugar.add cardamom powder and nuts..

It has a touch of flavor from cardamom and coconut.

Since pumpkin is known as Kaddu in Hindi.

This halwa is called kaddu ka halwa.

Here very less amount of ghee and no khoya is used.

So it is very light on stomach.
