It’s 2 tbspn of ghee.

You need 1 of cinimmon stick.

It’s 2 of clove.

You need 1 of star anise.

You need 1 of bay leave.

It’s 1 tsp of cumin seeds.

You need 1 of cardamom.

Prepare 2 of peppercorn.

It’s 1/2 cup of boiled corn kernels.

You need 1/2 cup of Methi(fenugreek leaves).

You need 2 cups of water.

Prepare 1 of green chilli slited.
Instead of the red chilli powders, one can increase the quantity of green chillies for the spiciness.
This results in white colored pulav but it can be a bit bland for spice lovers.
Corn methi pulao, my sister gave me this recipe, a year back but some how when i have corn, methi will not be there and when methi leaves are in stock, corn will not be there.

Corn Methi Pulav step by step

Take a bowl of rice wash it and keep it aside.

Take a pan add 2 tbspn of ghee once the ghee is heated add cinimon stick,clove, cardamom,bayleave, peppercorn,star anise and 1 tspn cumin seeds and sautee it for about a min..

Once done add Methi and corn and sautee it for 1 min.

Then add the rice and add 2 cups of water then add salt as per the taste and bring it to a boil under high flame..

Once you get a boil make the flame medium and cover it with lid and cook it untill the water a evaporated (10 min approx keep checking in between)..

6 Once done turn off the flame and transfer it into the serving bowl..

Serve it hot with Raita or Dal fry.
