  2. You need of refined flour (maida).

  3. It’s of salt.

  4. Prepare of oil.

  9. It’s of potato boiled & cubed.

  10. Prepare of cup mint chutney.

Chaat masala to taste; Assembling: Prepared katori; Chaat; Green Chutney; Meethi chutney; Dahi (Yogurt) whisked; Meethi chutney; Lal mirch (Red chili) crushed; Chaat masala; Nimco sev; Directions: For Dough: In bowl,add all-purpose flour,salt,oil and mix well.

Katori chaat step by step

  1. Firstly prepare dough of maida (prp like chapati dough).

  2. Now pinch a ball sized dough, flatten it.

  3. Dust flour as required & roll like chapati.

  4. Cut into strips.

  5. Put one strip over another in opposite direction & get a plus sign. Place a small katori and wrap this.

  6. Deep fry in hot oil.

  7. Splash oil till katori seprates from the dough.

  8. Once steel katori is seprated from dough,remove it out of oil.

  9. Now fry katori till it turns golden and crisp.

  10. Drain off over kitchen paper & keep aside.

  11. Prepare chat by assembling katori in a plate.

  12. First add boiled cubed potatoes next add chopped tomatoes and onions followed by boiled peas and sprouts, next add khara boondi, add mint chutney,tamarind chutney, yogurt, sev, coriander leaves.

  13. Sprinkle red chilli powder,chat masala powder & cumin powder.

  14. Serve katori chaat immediately.

  15. You can use kabuli chana/cheakpeas instead of peas..
