Korma or kurma is a curry made with nuts, seeds, coconut or yogurt.

Prepare 2 cups of paneer cubes.

Prepare 1 cup of green peas cooked.

It can be made with veggies, meat or even with paneer.
This paneer korma is a home style dish & is made with simple ingredients.
It tastes very delicious and is not creamy like paneer butter masala or shahi paneer.

Panner mutter korma step by step

Take 1 hand full of cashew,almonds along with 2 tbsp shredded coconut.Skin the almonds..

Grind them well with little water to form a thick paste.Keep it aside..

Marinate the paneer cubes with some salt,pepper and chilli powder for about 30 mins..

In a large pan,heat some oil and add cumin seeds,cardamom, bay leaf,cinnamon sticks and stir..

Now add the ginger garlic, chopped onion, green chilly and saute well with a pinch of salt and turmeric..

Once that is done,add the tomatoes and cook for 5 mins,.

Same time in another small pan,shallow fry the paneer cubes and remove excess oil and keep..

Make a paste of this masala and pour it back to the pan with little heated oil..

Combine the cashew coconut paste with this masala puree and mix well..

Now add the fried paneer cubes, green peas and mix well..

Mix in little heavy cream for that richness of the gravy..

Serve hot garnished with some cilantro and heavy cream..
