Beat sugar and butter together..

Add flour, baking powder and vanilla essence into sugar butter mix..

Pour in milk and knead a soft cookie dough. You may need an extra teaspoon or more to bind the dough..

Roll the dough into cylindrical shape..

Wrap it in plastic cover and store it in refrigerator for an hour.(dont skip this step)..

Preheat oven at 180Β° C for 10 mins..

After the desired time, unwrap the cookie dough and cut them into pieces..

With the help of a spoon or finger, press on cookies centre to make a hollow dip..

Now apply little mixed fruit jam onto the cookies and sprinkle some chopped dry fruits of your choice..

Grease the baking tray.Arrange the cookies on a baking tray..

And bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes at 180Β°c. For me total baking time is 12 minutes..

Allow the cookies to cool down completely..

Store them in airtight container and good for 4-5 weeks, only if they last that long..
