Trim and peel the broccoli stems.

Heat cooking oil in wok and fry chopped garlic until aroma over slow fire, then turn up the fire and slide broccoli in.

Add salt and oyster sauce, mix well.

  1. In a pan add oil when it is hot add mustard seeds, urad dal and cumin seeds..

I'll be the first one to tell you to eat your broccoli steamed, and tossed with a bit of minced garlic, maybe some red pepper flakes, little sea salt and a pat of pure butter.

So, in other words, don't go puttin' deep fried broccoli on your plate as a side dish.
