  6. Prepare 1/2 tsp of Coriander Powder.

  10. It’s 1 tbsp of Roasted Gram.

  11. Prepare 1 of Cinnamon.

  15. It’s of Salt as per taste.

Here is how I sprouted these yellow peas.

Wash and soak yellow peas in plenty of water overnight.

Then drain all the water and place them in a colander with small holes.

Add the ginger, turmeric, cumin, curry, sweet potato flesh, yellow split peas and broth.

Sprouted Peas Curry instructions

  1. Heat a pan and blanch the sprouted peas..

  2. By the time it gets cook, lets prepare the masala. Heat a wok and splutter the whole spices and add chopped onions. Fry until translucent..

  3. Add chopped tomatoes and all the spice powders with required salt. Saute until oil oozes out..

  4. Grind the coconut fennel and roasted gram to a fine paste and keep aside..

  5. Now add the blanched peas to the masala and cook for 5-10 minutes..

  6. Now add the coconut paste and mix everything well. Let it boil for 2 minutes and done. Serve hot with phulkas..

An easy green peas curry made using dried green peas which taste super delicious.

This gravy is very basic and taste super yummy on its own too.

I make this curry more often than anything else since hubby loves green peas.

He loves this dried peas than fresh or frozen peas.
