Oats lauki. Today I have given a twist by adding more vegetables in it to make it healthier and tastier!! These lauki oats hash browns is a quick way to sneak in some better vegetable other than regular potatoes in the diet. Lauki oats hash browns patties recipe is super simple restaurant style yet a healthy recipe and very delicious in taste as it is super crispy outside, soft and tender from inside.

  2. You need of spinach leaves slices.

  3. You need of Onions cut into cubes.

  4. You need of tomato chopped.

  5. It’s of small bottle gourd cut into cubes.

  6. It’s of onion ginger garlic paste.

  7. It’s of Salt.

  8. Prepare of sugar.

  9. You need of turmeric powder.

  10. You need of chana masala.

I haven't tried anything new with lauki except the usual poriyal so when I heard about this halwa wanted to try it.

I had this in drafts since a long time, finally posting it only now.do try this easy halwa and enjoy!

Lauki Bharta is a nice twist to the usually not so liked bottle gourd.

Lauki (Bottle gourd) has good amount of water content in it and is healthy vegetable which should be consumed regularly.

Oats lauki step by step

  1. Heat ghee in a kadai, add onion ginger garlic paste cook for 2 minutes, then add chopped tomatoes, salt to taste, turmeric powder, cook for 3 minutes, stir it continuously..

  2. Then add oats cook 1 minutes, then add vegetables, chaana masala and water then transfer to the pressure cooker,.

  3. Then add coriander leaves and sugar, cover and cook for 1 whistle then release the gas. Serve hot..

This Lauki Bharta is easy to prepare and takes very less time.

The addition of ginger garlic and spices, gives the bharta a good taste and packs it with flavor.  Serve the Lauki Bharta along.

Cook the grated lauki with a little water and salt in open flame.

After it gets cooked and soft, sieve it to remove the excess water.

So, you see, you can make many varieties of dishes with this humble vegetable.
