  2. You need 4 tsp of Kashmiri chilly powder (can be substituted with 3 tsp paprika and 1 tsp cayenne pepper).

  3. You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.

  4. You need 1 1/2 tsp of salt (you can add as per your taste).

  5. Prepare 1 1/2 tsp of pepper powder.

  6. It’s 1 of few curry leaves.

  7. Prepare 1/2 tsp of garam masala(optional).

  8. You need 2 tbsp of Oil to fry.

Jake's Roe fries (fish eggs) instructions

  1. Mix the Roe with kashmiri chilly powder , turmeric powder, salt and garam masala (dont add pepper) and let it stay for 5 min.

  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and add curry leaves. Then add roe and fry on low flame for 15 min. Then add pepper powder. Stir occassionally and fry both sides till its crunchy.

  3. Towards the end garnish with cillantro or mint leaves (optional) and serve.

  4. Warning : use low flame for safety…

  5. Can be had as snacks or with rice.. Taste excellent!.
