It is a curry of jackfruit which is perfect for the main course and light food.

It is a little difficult to handle because of its hard shell and sticky inside but it has a unique taste and texture.

It can be made as a curry or dry vegetable but I make it somewhere in between, not too dry, not too runny.

Usually I make kathal biryani or chakka payasam or kathal ki sabji and kathal stir fry with coconut.

This time due to the recipe request for a kathal curry, I asked my mom her recipe method.
