Tea kadai kajada Muttaikose instructions

In a mixing bowl, add Maida, salt, semolina, rice flour and baking soda.

In a mixie, grind the sugar and add the sugar powder to the mixing bowl. In this way it’s easier to mix.

In a separate bowl beat one egg well and add the beaten egg to the flour mixture and start kneading the dough well.

Add water to this and mix well until the dough doesn’t stick in your hands and finally add some ghee to the dough and keep it aside covered with a wet cloth for 30 minutes.

After 30 mins, split the dough into small balls. Need not be perfect rounds, roughly round shaped ones.

In a frying pan, pour oil for deep fry and once oil in hot, reduce the flame and add the balls. Cook this in medium flame so that it cooks well inside out. Cook approximately for 8/9 mins until colour turns golden brown and cracks appears as the attached image.

Then rest it and serve after 15 minutes.
