Make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water till it becomes little thick, add saffron and cardamom powder and keep it warm..

Mix all four ingredients listed under filling and make very small balls of pistachios for center of gulab jamuns.

To make Gulab Jamun: First take milk powder and ghee and baking soda and mix well..

Mix everything nicely and make small lemon size balls and fill centre with pista mixture..

Fry till dark brown on slow flame in hot ghee, keep turning them occasionally for the even brown colour..

Take them out on a plate and transfer in the warm sugar syrup and soak in, leave for half an hour it will become double in size..

Serve hot or warm as per the choice..
