Chanar Dalna, a Bengali dish is made of Chana also known as Paneer or Cottage cheese along with potatoes and cooked in Bengali spices.

Ingredients of Chanar dalna

Prepare 2 ltr of milk.

Prepare 1 kg of potatoes.

Boil the milk and pour into it the curd to curdle it.

Sieve the water and keep the chena in a muslin cloth tying up tightly to drain out the excess water.

Now mash the chena well and prepare a ball putting a sugar ball inside.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls and keep aside.

Now fry the potatoes and keep aside.

Put more oil in the pan and tamper the whole masalas.

Add ginger paste saute adding salt and turmeric powder.

Add jeera dhàniya powder mix well.

Now add cashew raisin paste and red chill powder.

As all the masalas get combined together pour in water and allow it boil.

Add potatoes and cover it.

Add the chena balls and boil.

Garnish it with garam masala powder and ghee.
