Heat the oil in a wok.

When the oil is hot add the cut okra and a teaspoon of turmeric powder.

Cook on high flame for 3-4 minutes till the outer surface of the okra becomes soft.

When the okra becomes soft, reduce the flame to ‘medium’ and add in the powder spices and the chopped onion.

Cover and cook for about 2 minutes.

Open the lid and give it a mix. Add salt as per your taste and cover and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
