  1. For Quorma: Heat oil in a pan and fry chicken with ginger garlic paste and whole spices until it changes colour. Add the remaining spices and cook for a while. Now add yogurt and 1 cup water. Let it cook at low flame until chicken is done. In the end add few drops of kewra essence. Its ready for layering..

  2. For Rice: Boil rice in the usual manner as you do for biryani..

  3. For layering: Add half a layer of rice cover it with qorma. Add 1/2 Cup of brown onion. Give the second layer of rice and cover with remaining brown onion and add food colour. Leave it for dum and enjoy. Serve it with green chilli raita..
