You need 1 cup of Pearl millet/Kambu.

It’s 1 cup of Idli rice.

Prepare 3/4 cup of urad dal.

You need 1/8 tsp of methi seeds.

It’s To taste of Salt.

First grind urad dal until smooth and fluffy.
Add ice water gradually while grinding to get it light and airy.

.Clean rice and millet and soak in water.Soak urad dal and methi seeds together.

.First grind dal mix to a fine paste with some water.Transfer it to a big container..

Then grind rice-millet mix finely.Transfer it to the same container..

Add salt and mix the batter well.Leave it overnight for fermentation..

Next morning mix the batter well, pour into idli plates and steam it..

When done remove from plate and serve hot with your favourite chutney, sambar..
Using a blender grind dal to a fluffy consistency, followed by poha and grains.
