It is mostly prepared in the Northern part of Nigeria and is eaten with Miyan Waina/Taushe.
It can be prepared plain or sweetened with sugar.
Masa or Waina is a rice cake that is from the northern part of Nigeria and is traditionally eaten by the Hausa tribe.

Prepare 1 Cup of cooked white rice.

Cook the white rice allow it to over cook and set aside.

Put semovita powder in bowl and add cooked white rice, yeast, surgar, yoghurt and pinch salt, add water and mix gently until a slightly thick batter is formed cover it and allow to rise for 1hr.

After it has risen add onion put masa frypan on fire add oil and start frying, turn and when is done remove it enjoy with soup of your choice.
