Chicken a la king. Heat oil in large frying pan and fry chicken and onion until slightly brown.

Add pieces of green peppers and mushrooms and fry for about 5 minutes.

Mix a packet with milk and pour over chicken mixture. Bring to boil then simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve with rice and enjoy.
This recipe is easy to adapt–you can make it thicker or thinner by changing the amount of roux and having a little extra stock on hand.
Usually I make this with leftovers from a large roasted chicken.
Serve over pasta, toast, rice, or mashed potatoes.
