  2. Prepare 2 tbspn of baking powder.

Semo alkubus instructions

  1. In a bowl add ur semovita,baking powder and mix thoroughly.

  2. In a cup of warm water sprinkle yeast and stir leave to rest for few minutes.

  3. Add the yeast mixture in the semovita add ur water mix thoroughly to make a paste not too runny and not too thick jux like puff puff mixture but a little bit thin.

  4. Beat it with hand untill well corporated.

  5. Cover the bowl and let double its size.

  6. Grease ur pans with few drops of oil or anything u feel like steaming with it.

  7. In a pot that can contain ur pans or containers add 2 to 3 cups of water.

  8. Arrange the containers or pans contained with the semo mixture.

  9. Cover with lid and allow to steam for 10_15 minutes u can check with toothpick jus as u do to ur cakes when baking to ensure whether its done.

  10. When the toothpick comes out clear ur alkubus is done.

  11. Serve with pepper soup,egusi soup, vegetables soup or any soup or stew of ur choice. Bon appetit!!.
