Mumbaiya roadside Flavorful Pav Bhaji step by step

  1. First, peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces and boil them in Cooker at middle gas flame. After boiling them, you have to smash them with the smasher..

  2. Then boil muttor in open vessel on the medium gas flame..

  3. Now, you have to chop all the veggies into small pieces..

  4. The next step is to take a pan on the gas and add 2 tablespoon of oil. Then add immediately half pav bhaji masala and saute for 5-7 seconds. This adds flavor to pav bhaji..

  5. Then add jira and smashed potatoes, capsicum, green chilli, carrot pieces, boiled muttor, tomatoes..

  6. Now, you have to smash these veggie for about 5-7 minutes at medium flame properly to make smooth texture. Then add 1/4th teaspoon turmeric powder and 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder in the veggies and smash them until the oil releases..

  7. Now, turn off the gas and pour the mixture of veggies in another vessel..

  8. Then in the same pan pour 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon butter and let them heat for few seconds. Then add onion pieces, garlic and ginger paste and saute for few seconds..

  9. Now, add remaining pav bhaji masala, chilli powder and turmeric powder and saute for few more seconds..

  10. Then add the veggie mixture in onion garlic mixture and mix properly. Now, add salt, lemon juice and smash the mixture once. Let bhaji cook for 4-5 minutes to get all the flavors of masala..

  11. The last step is to roast bread with pav bhaji masala and butter. Serve pav bhaji with butter, onion tomato, papad and buttermilk..
