Dengu Stewed. This greenish stew does not look very inviting, but the taste of the mung beans is wonderful! With some red colour, it looks more delicious - and it tastes so good! This is my tomato sauce version of mung beans.

It’s 5 tbs of cooking oil.

Prepare 3 of big tomatoes.

Sort the ndengu then wash. If you have time you can soak first..

For me I boiled till cooked then set aside.

Stir fry onions till brown then add tomatoes..

Add the boiled ndengu then salt.

Cook for some minutes. Serve with rice or chapattis.
