Recipe: Eating on a Dime Delicious Akhni Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Ingredients of Delicious Akhni

  1. You need 1 of chicken (cut into curry pieces).

  2. You need 1 of large onion (diced).

  3. It’s 1.5 tsp of Ginger Garlic.

  4. Prepare 0.5 tsp of Red masala.

  5. It’s 0.75 tsp of whole jeero.

  6. You need 0.25 cup of oil.

  7. Prepare of garam masala.

  8. It’s 2 of cinnamon sticks.

  9. Prepare 2 of cloves.

  10. It’s 4 of peppercorns.

  11. It’s 2 of elachies.

  12. You need of Spice.

  13. It’s 1.5 tsp of salt.

  14. You need 1 tsp of turmeric.

  15. It’s 2 tsp of coarse jeero.

  16. Prepare 1/4 cup of water.

  17. You need 2 tsp of Suhana chilli powder.

  18. It’s 2 tsp of fine coriander powder.

  19. It’s 2 of tomatoes (liquidized).

  20. Prepare 2 of potatoes cut into quarters.

  21. Prepare of Rice*.

  22. You need 2 cups of rice.

  23. It’s 4.5 cups of water.

  24. It’s 2 tsp of salt.

  25. You need I tsp of turmeric.

  26. You need of Garnish*.

  27. You need of Green chilli and fresh coriander.

Braise onion in oil. Add whole jeero and whole garam masala (cinnamon(2), cloves(2), peppercorns(4), elachi(2)) once onion is braised (Goldern brown) - Add chicken with: Ginger garlic and red masala Braise for a while and then add: salt, turmeric, coarse jeero and water Leave chicken to cook for 10-15 mins.

  1. Now add Suhana chilli powder, fine coriander powder, tomatoes liquidized. Let cook till done.

  2. Add potatoes cut into quarters, fresh coriander and 2 whole green chillies..

  3. Rice: Add 4.5 cups water with 2 cups rice. Put in 2 tsp salt and 1 tsp turmeric powder. Cook for 5 minutes until water comes to a boil..

  4. Place in oven at 150-170 degrees for 40-45 minutes only..

  5. Serve with diced cucumber, tomatoes, onions and chilli and a glass of sparkling lemonade. Enjoy❤️.
