Pav Bhaji… a tasty version of mixed vegetables. You need of Salt as per the taste. Pav Bhaji - a spicy curry of mixed vegetables (bhaji) cooked in a special blend of spices and served with soft buttered pav (bread bun shallow fried in butter), is any Indian food lover's dream. Still, many are in dilemma whether this is healthy or unhealthy food.

Any food prepared with right spices, vegetables, cleanliness and love will turn out to be a healthy choice.

  1. You need of Potato.

  2. It’s of Tomatoes.

  3. Prepare of Onions.

  4. You need of Peas.

  5. You need of Green capsicum.

  6. It’s of Ginger.

  7. It’s of Garlic.

  8. You need of Fenugreek methi leaves / kasoori spoon.

  9. Prepare of coriander leaves.

  10. You need of Butter.

  11. You need of Salt approx.

  12. You need of Turmeric Haldi powder /.

Basically it is a fridge clean out recipe.

You can use vegetables like onions , tomatoes, potatoes, plantains, green peas, cauliflower, bell peppers to make Bhaji.

Pav Bhaji is Mumbai's most popular street food, that has reached hotels and restaurants alike.

Pav Bhaji… a tasty version of mixed vegetables step by step

  1. Gravy 1.

  2. Sauté finely chopped capsicum in oil add little water till it softens.

  3. Add finely chopped tomatoes - let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes,.

  4. Add boiled mashed potatoes - mix it well.

  5. Add boiled mashed green peas and add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste - keep stirring to mix all the ingredients well.

  6. Add 1 tbsp of red chilly powder and a pinch of turmeric powder/ haldi.

  7. Add a little water and a spoon of butter then after stirring once again add chopped coriander salt  and 2 tbsp of pav bhaji masala and let it boil.

  8. Gravy 2.

  9. Take another pan.

  10. Heat 3 tbsp of butter.

  11. Fry finely chopped onions.

  12. Add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tbsp of red chili powder, 2 tbsp of pav bhaji masala, kasoori methi, a pinch of hing.

  13. Add some coriander (optional).

  14. Squeeze 1 lemon.

  15. Mix both the GRAVIES AND MASH it well.

  16. Once it boils and thickens garnish it with coriander and onions and serve it with bread.

  17. Relish it!.

It tingles the tastebuds with a myriad of flavours.
