Ingredients of Green gram(ndengu)

  1. You need 1 cup of green gram.

  2. You need 1 of onion.

  3. Prepare 2 of tomatoes.

  4. You need of ndania.

  5. You need of Salt &royco.

  6. It’s 1 of large carrot.

In a large Sufuria add green grams and water.

Remove from heat and set aside.

  1. Wash and boil the green gram for about 20 mins.set aside..

  2. On a pan,fry onions,but dont brown,add in the tomatoes and grated carrots,cover and let it cook for 3 mins, add in the boiled green gram,mix well, season with salt, add in royco but it's optional..

  3. When it cooked for about 3 mins, remove from heat and serve.mine l served with brown chapati.
