They dont use cinnamon,cloves,fennel,bay leaves in their cooking.

Begin by rinsing 200 grams basmati rice in water until it runs clear of starch. Next, soak the rice in enough water for 30 minutes. On the other hand slice onion tomato and potato finely..

Keep all the whole spices aside like black pepper cloves and the cinnamon stick. Also keep aside soya chunks in warm water for some time so that it gets soften..

Now take some oil in pan and fry peanuts until it gets golden colour then keep it aside..

Now fry half onions till gets fully brown in colour..

Now take some oil in cooker and our whole spices,saute it for a min then add 1 teaspoon ginger garlic paste then add remaining half onions, peanuts and potatoes and then add tomato and nutrela soya chunks,saute it for 3-4 minutes..

Now add turmeric powder, Red chilli powder and salt.mix it well.finally add soaked basamati rice and biryani masala powder to it and mix it well..

Now add water and mix it well and then cook in pressure cooker for 2 whistles and then switch it off.after the cooker cools down then take out our veggie pulao in biryani style and garnish it with fried onions and peanuts, tomato and curry leaves or coriander..
