  1. Dry roast the coriander till its almost black. roast on low flame so it doesnt get burnt, keep aside..

  2. Heat Oil,add sliced onions,fry the onions till brown. Add the ginger garlic and the garam masala. Now add the roasted coriander powder. saute for a minute..

  3. Add the chicken and salt to taste. Sauté for 2 mins and add potato.Water is not added in this dish,chickens throw up water and it gets cooked in the same..

  4. Lid on and cook in slow flame for around 20 mins. When chicken is cooked add pepper powder. Garnish with coriander leaves..

One thing that I liked the most is the dark devilish colour it gives to the dish.

How to Make Coorg Chicken Curry.

Grind the coconut and keep aside ; Grind the ingredient taken for grinding into a smooth paste ; Heat oil in a pressure pan and saute the onion until pink ; Add the masala paste to it and fry well.
