  1. It’s 1 cup of Daliya(Broken wheat).

  6. You need 1/4 cup of Chopped Spnich.

  10. It’s 1/4 cup of Chopped Bottle Guard.

  11. It’s 1/4 cup of Grated Carrot.

  12. It’s 6-7 of Garlic pods.

  13. Prepare 1 tbsp of Cumin seeds.

  14. You need 1-2 of Dried red chilli.

  15. Prepare 1 tbsp of Turmeric Powder.

  16. You need 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.

  17. You need 2 tbsp of Coriander Powder.

  18. Prepare 1 tbsp of Cumin Powder.

  19. You need 1 tbsp of Ginger Powder.

  20. It’s To taste of Salt.

  21. You need 1 tbsp of oil.

  22. You need As required of Water.

I add whatever spare veggies I have in the fridge.

You can use quick-cooking oats as well as rolled oats to prepare the recipe.

If using rolled oats, then just add some more water.

Oats and daliya Mix Veg Khichdi step by step

  1. Take all dal and mix in a bowl, and wash it..

  2. Take daliya, oats,and mix with dals.

  3. Now heat oil, and add cumin seed, red chilli..

  4. Now add crushed garlic..

  5. As garlic become golden brown, add chopped onion..

  6. Cook onion till golden brown, then add, chopped beans and bottle gourd, and cook 2 mins..

  7. Now add carrot, and spinach.

  8. Cook it for 1 min and add tomato..

  9. Cook 1 min, then add all spices and salt as per taste..

  10. Mix well and cook 2 mins add some water..

  11. Now add, dal- daliya mix. Mix it well.

  12. Add water, and cook up to 2-3 whisle..

  13. Khichdi is ready..
