Tindora Crispy fry / Ivygourd Fritters. These fritters were usually made from the slightly ripened Ivygourd which could not be used in a stir fry. They were literally best out of waste. The children love it, so I usually make them from the regular fresh ones.
It is also called kundru fry or tendli fry.
Tindora Fry also known as Dondakaya Vepudu is a delicious Indian Curry made with by stir frying thinly sliced Tindora tempered with seasonings.
It goes well the North Indian meal of Dal, Raita and Roti.

Prepare 250 gm of Ivygourd.

Prepare 1/3 cup of Besan flour / gram flour.

It’s 1/2 of 1/3 cup of Rice flour.

You need as per taste of Salt.

You need 1 tbsp of Chilli powder.

You need 1 tsp of Hing / asafoetida.

It’s as required of Oil for frying.

Cut the veggie into strips and then wash it with water you shall get soapy stuff wash off wash twice with water then drain water..

Add Hing, besan flour, rice flour, salt, chilli powder and sprinkle water should not be watery should be a thick paste,then deep fry in oil you get yummy fritters,serve it with dip of your choice..
Open the cover, increase the flame to high and fry it for a minute to make it crispy.
