This is 'a la grace' version of a combo of Mexican refried beans and chili, though I used ndengu instead of beans.

Ingredients of Ndengu

Prepare 1 cup of ndengu.

Prepare 3 tbsp of Cooking oil.

Prepare 1 of onion.

Prepare 2 cloves of garlic.

It’s to taste of Salt.

Wash and boil the ndengu till tender..

Discard the water and fry onions to golden brown, add tomatoes, pound garlic and stir to make a sauce, add salt and tomato paste then add boiled ndengu plus water and stir, let it simmer for a few minutes to cook well..

Eat it without any other meal, its yummy..
I don't like alot of spice in my Ndengu, I'd rather have all the natural flavors and taste of the ndengus in my soup.

Rice also is a good accompaniment.
