  2. Now we make yellow batter except you know mix all ingredients and make a smooth batter. Now take a cake tin and put in in dhokla steamer.first in thali grease the oil then when water will heat in steamer then add soda in all three batters then mix well now first 4 white batter than green batter and then orange see pictures and steam for 12 to 13 minutes..

Gujarati people love this spicy baked cake made from rice and lentils flour.

Gently, slide out of thalis just like cakes.

Layer with cottage cheese/soft mashed paneer and green chutney to make a savory dhokla cake.
