Dice your potatoes and boil them, when they nice and soft drain water and mash them till they soft and add a spoon of margarine and a pinch of aromat..

Dice onion and green pepper and fry till slightly brown, mince spice, add a pinch of BBQ spice, then add mince meat, fry til its brown and cooked then add brown onion thickner.

Grease your baking pan, Then add your mince then add the mashed potatoes on top then sprinkle lots of grated cheese then put in oven for 10 minutes.

After, ready to serve..
I always make sure my potatoes are really good for mashing.
My preference is King Edwards or Maris Pipers.
Boil your potatoes until soft enough for mashing.
This cheesy broccoli shepherd's pie is a great family meal to put a little variety and extra nutrition on the table!
A couple notes: Though the recipe calls for chopped chicken or turkey, I often use browned ground turkey or pork sausage (since we have been raising hogs, we have a lot of good, lean pork sausage on hand), and it's delicious!
