Whole wheat and bottle gourd lavash. Using whole wheat flour or mutigrain, no oil , baking makes food healthy and with variety of spices it enhances the taste. And so I made this lavash. It gives munching a healthy twist.
Lavash is a thin and crispy Armenian flat bread, prepared using refined flour, salt and oil.
I have used equal proportions of whole wheat flour and refined flour in kneading dough.
You can also use multigrain flour to make them healthier.

Prepare 2 cup of Whole wheat flour.

You need 1 cup of grated bottle gourd.

You need 1 tsp of olive oil.

It’s 1 tsp of garlic flakes.

You need 1 tsp of oregano.

It’s to taste of Salt.

Prepare 1/2 tsp of Red chilli powder.

It’s 1/2 tsp of Turmeric powder.

Whole wheat and bottle gourd lavash step by step

Mix grated bottle gourd and all spices and olive oil.

Add wheat flour to it.

Knead a tight dough.

Leave it for 30 minutes coverd.

Preheat oven at 180 degree.

Divide dough into medium size balls and roll each ball into very thin chapati.. Cut this chapati into triangles and bake them in preheated oven for 10 minutes.

Your lavash is ready. I have served it with Mayo scezwan corn dip with hot cup of ginger mint tea.
