  2. You need 1 Cup of Rava/Sooji(fine).

  3. You need 1 Cup of Curd.

  5. Prepare 1 tsp of curry leaves.

  6. You need 4-5 of Chopped Cashews.

  7. You need 1 tsp of Urad dal.

  8. You need 1 tsp of Mustard seeds.

  9. Prepare 1 tbsp of Oil for tempering.

  10. It’s to taste of Salt.

  11. It’s 1 tsp of Eno.

  12. It’s as needed of Water.

  1. In a mixing bowl, add powdered oats, rava/sooji, curd, 1/4th cup water and mix nicely. Let it rest for 15-20 minutes..

  2. Take a small pan, heat oil on a medium flame. Now add Urad dal, mustard seeds, curry leaves and cashews and saute for a minute..

  3. After 15 minutes, add some more water to make an idli batter consistency. Add the tempering to the batter. Mix everything nicely..

  4. Take an Idli Cooker, pour some water and bring it to boil. Now grease the idli plate/mould with some oil..

  5. Just before pouring the batter in the idli plate/mould, add 1 tsp of eno add stir continuously to get a frothy texture. Now pour the batter in Idli plate and let it steam for 15 mins..

  6. After 15 minutes check if the Idlis are done by inserting a toothpick. Of it comes out clean Idlis are cooked. Let it cool for 2-3 minutes and now demould the Idlis..

  7. Remove the idli in a plate and serve with coconut chutney or green chutney..
