Chocolate Wheat and Rava Cake. This is the very same famous iyengar bakery rava cake recipe but with the twist of chocolate into it. This rava can be made in the microwave as well as in pressure cooker. This rava cake recipes is extremely easy to make using this follow along video.

These molten chocolate lava cakes may be my favorite small batch recipe to date and that's saying a lot given the number of times I've made this small batch chocolate chip cookie recipe.
This rava ake has a different texture and taste than cakes made with all purpose flour (maida) or whole wheat flavor.
The rava cake is moist, slightly dense in texture and has a lovely aroma of the coconut.
Here is how you cook it.
Chocolate Wheat and Rava Cake step by step

Grease the cake tin with refined oil and dust some wheat flour properly..

Keep a pan on the flame for pre-heating, put a stand-in it & cover it with a lid & keep it on medium flame for 10 mins..

In a blender container, put Sugar and Curd and grind them..

Add 1/2 cup milk and blend it again..

Now, add the wheat flour, semolina, cocoa powder, refined oil and remaining milk and grind it again to make a silky smooth batter..

Transfer the batter in bowl, give it a gentle mix and let it rest for 15-20 minutes..

Now add baking powder and baking soda..

Furthermore, add dry fruits, choco chips and 2 tbsp tutti frutti..

Fold it nicely and transfer to cake tin..

Keep the tin in the preheated pan. Cover it & keep the flame high for a min then turn the flame slow & cook it for 30-35 mins..

Alternatly, you can bake the cake at 180 degree celsius or 356 degree fahrenheit for 40 minutes..

Let it cool down the cake completely..
