It has no refined flour or maida and like most of the cake recipes, this suji ka cake is an oil-based cake recipe.
For this recipe of semolina cake, I have used semolina or sooji and whole wheat flour or aata for the dry ingredients.
Semolina - Semolina is flour made from durum wheat.
It's most commonly used in making pasta, but lends a nice crumb and slightly nutty / buttery flavor to this cake.
Semolina wholewheat cake instructions

Take a large bowl soak rava in milk for 30 mins..

Now take another bowl, sieve wheat flour, baking powder, soda, milk powder..

Take one bowl add malai and sugar, baet or stir it till it becomes soft and smooth..

Now, add all dry ingredients slowly slowly, and mix it in one direction, add rava also, add vanilla essence, and salt mix it propwrly till shines come on top..

Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 10 mins..

Take a baking dish /pot, apply butter, dust some flour, now pour batter in the pot, tap it twice..

Now, keep it an oven for around 40 mins check in between, now take out the pot from oven. Let it be cool for 30 mins.

Decorate with some dust sugar and mangoes. Enjoy.
Plain Yogurt - Plain yogurt works best in this recipe.
I have made it with nonfat Greek yogurt as well and had good results.
