Recipe: Perfect Instant Chocolate Kalakand Delicious, fresh and tasty.

Instant Chocolate Kalakand. Chocolate Kalakand is a variation of classic Indian sweet Kalakand, that is made out of solidified milk called Khoya and sugar. I am making instant version of Kalakand for few years now. This is the first time I have added chocolate to it.

You can have Instant Chocolate Kalakand using 6 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you achieve it.

Ingredients of Instant Chocolate Kalakand

  1. It’s 2 cups of Milk powder.

  2. It’s 1 tbsp of Ghee.

  3. It’s 1/2 can of Condensed milk.

  4. Prepare 1/4 tsp of Nutmeg powder.

  5. You need 2 tbsp of Cocoa powder.

  6. It’s 4-5 tbsp of Nuts of your choice.

This requires only a few ingredients like paneer, condensed milk, some dry fruits and cardamom for flavouring.

You can easily prepare this dessert at home without spending much time in the kitchen.

Kalakand is a very popular sweet across Indian.

How to make Kalakand in an Instant Pot: Add ricotta cheese, sugar and water to a pot and mix well.

Instant Chocolate Kalakand step by step

  1. In a non stick pan, add ghee and dry roast the milk powder for 2 minutes on a low heat only. Add the condensed milk and the cocoa powder. Mix well. Stir in the nutmeg powder. Do not over roast because it gives a burnt taste..

  2. The mixture starts leaving the sides and gets thickened in no time. Even if it does not, no need to panic as it solidifies after cooling. Add the chopped nuts and turn off the flame..

  3. Grease a dish and allow the mix to set either outside or in the fridge. After an hour or may be 40 minutes, cut into desired shapes and serve. Tastes best when chilled. Enjoy!.
